Creating a PastBook doesn't have to be a solo project. If you're making a book for a group trip, a wedding, or a milestone everyone was part of, you can invite others to add their own photos directly to your book — right from the PastBook iOS app.
How it works
- Open the PastBook app and create your book (from your camera roll, an album, or however you'd like to start).
- Once your book is open, look for the Share or Invite option and choose to invite contributors.
- The app generates a shareable link. Send it to friends or family however you like — Messages, WhatsApp, email, or any app you'd normally use to share a link.
- Anyone you send the link to can open it and add their own photos to the book. They don't need a PastBook account to do this. As people contribute, their photos are added to your book automatically.
- You stay in control: only you, as the book's owner, can rearrange pages, edit the layout, remove a contributed photo you don't want included, and place the final order.
Good to know
Contributors can only add photos — they can't edit your layout or place an order themselves.
You can keep collecting photos for as long as you'd like before finalizing your book, so there's no rush to order right away.
Review the book before checkout to make sure you're happy with everything that's been added.
