You can add the captions to your photos when uploading the pictures. Click the button in the upper, left-hand corner, choose “Upload pictures” or “From social or cloud services” and select the photos you want to add to your book. You can also invite your friends to add their photos by clicking the “Invite friends” button.
When you upload photos to your PastBook, the pop-up window will ask you if you want to add the photos as full page (one photo per page) or minimized (2 photos per page). You can also check the box in the lower, right-hand corner of the pop-up to import captions – where available, titles and file names will be imported as captions. Don’t forget to check “Show titles” when editing your book (it is enabled by default).
You can also add captions to the pictures while browsing the book. Click the button in the upper left corner – now you can flip through the pages of the digital version of your book. On each photo you will see a pencil, a star, and a trash bin . The pencil is to “customize”, the star is to “use as cover”, the trash bin is to “delete”. Click the pencil on any photo: now you can add a caption, delete it or set it as a cover.
You can also add captions by clicking the button in the upper, left-hand corner: it will redirect you to the editing page. Click on the photo, and “Say something about this moment…” in space to the right of the photo.
You have up to 350 characters to come up with the best description of your picture!
Keep in mind, captions are hidden on 1/4 sized pictures (4 per page).
